Today is Christmas.. 2012...
This year has taken us on a journey we Never could have imagined.
Yet... today the last holiday of the year... I feel very Blessed.
Last night as I wrapped presents ~ I talked with my son.. who told me the greatest thing he learned to love over the years about this day... was the family moments... the feeling of "Home"... we talked from 1000+ miles away, yet it felt like he was here with me.. <3 ...="..." p="p">Then.. I went and talked with the one who was always my baby.. until his little sister came when he was 10... and he said the greatest gift he ever got for christmas... was the memories... that the presents fade, get lost, or broken... but nothing can change the memories. . <3 p="p">This year we, as a family... faced major life changing events.
Thank you God for letting us share more time with Tyler... ...
In ways that we miss sometimes... (like when a 6 year old.. says.. "everyone is either sick, or busy" ... it made me stop and re-evaluate life in my home. . .
Because like I already knew... and sometimes need reminders... each moment is a gift/ an opportunity to recognize the great and simple value of the priceless gifts... ... life, love, and family <3 p="p">
