A sound... an echo... a moment ....
what is it ? ... what is in the silence,
that can speak such volumes...
thoughts, emotions, fears...
that can't be found in words.
How can nothing...
be so strong.
How can emptiness...
carry on...
How can a void...
fill so much...
When the words stop,
and time seems to freeze....
The mind will find answers,
the soul finds peace.....
It's in the silence even...
that we feel life's strongest breeze.
Nothing: that is everything...
impossible to recreate...
a void, an absence...
yet a gift so great....
Whatever it is that silence brings...
it carries it in on invisible wings....
holds it for moments...
then silently fades...
Returning again.... some other day.
