Wounds of a Word march 19, 2012

"
words can so often cut deeper then ever realized. . . when they form in your mind, and cross your lips... they only have that simplest moment [unrecognizable in time] ... to be captured and held, or blurted and shared.

once that instant is gone, and the choice is made to share those words....
there can be to taking them back.. .. even if you didn't realize what those words would do... ... you don...'t get to re-say them... you can try to say more to explain, you can try to speak words that won't sound the same...

but a word, once it has left your thoughts and crossed your lips... ....

is there... and can echo or fade, cut or heal, build up or tear down.
Think:
because the wounds of a word hurt as deeply as the wounds of a weapon.
